Separation Agreement
If you have agreed financial matters with your spouse, we can formalise it with a legally binding separation agreement. A formal agreement isn’t always needed but in certain cases it is essential such as:
Large debts
Jointly owned property
Pensions to be shared
We do not take part in negotiations on your behalf but if you are still negotiating with your spouse, we can offer guidance on the type of settlement you should be aiming for in line with the current law.
This service is based on documenting an agreement already reached

What To Expect
We will contact you to confirm that you qualify for our fixed fee agreement service.
Once confirmed we will contact you to discuss the terms of the agreement.
Timescales vary depending on the complexity of the agreement.
The signed agreement is then sent to Registers of Scotland, they keep the original in their vault and send you and your spouse officially registered stamped, bound copies.
